Bits & Bobbins is another incarnation of the little Buttercup cottage.
This one is a village craft shop, of the sort that used to be found
in most rural areas in England not so long ago.
The proprietor, Miss U Stitchit, tries to keep most things that
the villagers could want, knitting wool, patterns, and embroidery threads,
as well as general haberdashery items, fabrics and trimmings.
She also has a better than average selection of craft books,
as she loves to try new things herself.

The village notice board is on the wall
outside the shop.

The window display has embroidery kits
and trimmings of all sorts.

Miss Stitchit chats with
Mrs Brown.

.

Mrs Brown has a new grandaughter,
and, as her eyes are not as good as they
used to be, and she cannot knit any more,
she has bought a pretty pink
matinee set.
